See, in the case of this Youtuber specifically, I really do think she has a legit reason for not being crazy about a given cdrama. Sometimes if the ship/romance really works for you or your favorite actor is involved, you can forgive a great deal of flaws and shortcomings that might otherwise bother you. It's only human! But... she doesn't say that. It's as if she feels she has to come up with MORE reasons why she didn't like a cdrama and that pointing out deficiencies in the lighting, budget, cheap looking sets, historically inaccurate hair/clothing, meh dubbing, cheezy CGI, etc. etc. feel more legit than just saying that you didn't ship the main leads very hard and couldn't overlook the flaws that will, of course, exist in any cdrama, somewhere.

Ehhh. I can personally think of plenty of cases where I could overlook flaws in one canon but not another for reasons that had absolutely nothing to do with ships. Sometimes it's all about the writing or how the author frames something or whether or not the flaws are front and center and impossible to ignore.
