I don't see it as "shilling", maybe because the ones I watch aren't pushy about it (I only watch a couple and they literally say things along the lines of "this thing is cool, and if you want to buy it, you can use my code, but if you want to use someone else's code, or if you don't want to buy it at all, that's cool too").

I've never bought anything just because I saw a YouTuber advertise it, but I've definitely used their codes to get a discount on things I was already going to buy. Saving money is always nice.
