Er... no, he hasn't!
Sigh... I wish people would get the point that just because someone isn't found guilty that doesn't meant they didn't do the thing they were accused of.
Spacey is totes a creep.
(I have actor friends who lived in England before the accusations came out. They work in the theatre and said the rumours were if you're a pretty young man, to not go near Spacey. He's "handsey").
Besides, why would Anthony Rapp lie about Spacey attempting to rape him as a fourteen-year-old?

ayrt
to become famous.

We will see how the court'll go. It's been many years and no guilty verdict. A friend told me that the accusations were bogus, some phone messages faked. I have no opinion either way. Innocent untill proven guilty to me.

He was already famous.

well, if your friend told you it was fake,

Anthony Rapp was already famous. He's been acting since 1981 and was in the movie Adventures In Babysitting and the play RENT.

I see.
Rapp lost the case btw. Google says the 40mil case, so maybe he did it for money. Or maybe Sacey molested Rapp idk.
'The lawsuit sought $40 million in damages.'

'Rapp, 50, and Spacey, 63, each testified over several days at the three-week trial.'

Keller suggested reasons Rapp imagined the encounter with Spacey or made it up.

It was possible, she said, that Rapp invented it based on his experience performing in "Precious Sons," a play in which actor Ed Harris picks up Rapp's character and lays on top of him, mistaking him briefly for his wife before discovering it is his son.

She also suggested that Rapp later grew jealous that Spacey became a megastar while Rapp had "smaller roles in small shows" after his breakthrough performance in Broadway's "Rent."

"So here we are today and Mr. Rapp is getting more attention from this trial than he has in his entire acting life," Keller said. She said Rapp is well known now because he's taken down one of Hollywood's biggest actors.

also Spacey said that he lived in a studio at that time and not an appartment. Anyone followed the trial? Did he provide proof of that?
All in all, I'll wait and see the next court... Tho after Depp debacle I don't trust British courts tbh. We'll see.

The Depp debacle in the British Court he lost in? Or just courts in general? I don’t know why you would mean “in general” though, considering he won outside of England.

I mean Depp lost in Britain but won in the US. So British court looks incompetent to me. I don't trust all courts 100% too lol.

I mean, the US court found that he might have been abusive but she shouldn’t have talked about it. So you’re probably right not to trust the courts.

The jury ruled that Heard's op-ed references to "sexual violence" and "domestic abuse" were false, full stop.

US court was also broadcast so that even the most delusional of Heard's fans were able to see so-called photographic evidence presented by Heard with their own eyes, as well as hear the iconic 'I didn't punch you, I hit you'. It was sad to see so-called experts testifying. I grew up with Parry Mason books. Irl money makes experts testify whatever. I hope some of those clowns lost their license.

So If I meet pro Heard folk, I'm sure they got all their info via osmosis without listening to testimonies or looking up evidence. It was a very clear case.

It’s disingenuous to think Anthony Rapp wouldn’t stand to gain from his accusation. He had steady work throughout his career but was far from famous. ST: Discovery was a huge second chance for him, it was the (No pun intended) flagship series of a fledgling streaming service, and the show was getting torn to shreds by the target audience at the time he made the accusation. He’s been a household name ever since and he has gotten paid work as a direct result of accusing Kevin Spacey.

None of this means he wasn’t a victim who has made a valid accusation. I absolutely believe him but I also think it’s incredibly naive to assume the circumstances around his accusation wouldn’t be scrutinized.
