It’s all haggling over the price. Some people wouldn’t play Hatred because it would offend them. Some people think Hatred isn’t that bad, but wouldn’t play Rapelay. Some folks who’d be fine with Rapelay would be offended by . . . I dunno, is there a video game equivalent to Racial Holy War?

I’m not saying that I want Far Cry banned, or that it has a meaningful impact on the world one way or another. I’m just offended, like someone being offended by Hatred.

P.S. The reason I’m even talking about these games’ morality is because Far Cry 2 clearly wanted to say something about cycles of violence. It was stupid, but it was sincerely stupid. FC6 is part of the same series, so I think comparing it is fair.

Thanks for taking the time to explain this. If earlier FarCry had things to say about morality, and its successors more or less throw that to the wind, I can see why you'd be indignant about it.
