idk, what's better...having a tablet or phone in your kitchen that gets covered in shit from your hands while trying to scroll through the recipe to see how many tsp of cinnamon is supposed to go in at this step, or a book you can get messy, write notes in, etc?

I may be old and janky but give me the book any day. my eyesight is going, too, so trying to squint at a screen while trying not to get food splattered on it is just so much nope nope nope never nope. att least the book's type size stays constant.
