I see it as a "Minder" type series, with Denis Waterman and George Cole but in ancient Mesopotamia instead of the East End of London, and all sorts of shady deals going on all the time. I would love it and would buy the DVD as soon as it came out.

Nah. The modern setting makes it commonplace. What's funny about it is that it took place in ancient times, but with very modern-sounding problems.

Yeah, but I think OP agrees with you because I read their secret as wanting said workplace sitcom to take place in ancient Mesopotamia.
