I have had... a week. Worthy of a full blog post or maybe two or three, but most relevant to how I'm doing today is:

- Monday evening I lost my eldest bun Oscar to old age (it was peaceful and not traumatic, though I will always miss him)
- Tonight I cleaned out the enclosure I moved my youngest bunny Emily out of (into my room) later that night because the shelter I've been doing some work with got word that someone with 5 buns is being evicted and they have 24 hours to find somewhere to put them.

Thank you... honestly not too torn over it because he really is resting. Every day I had with him after he was diagnosed with e cuniculi two years ago was a "bonus" and he clearly knew how lucky he was too. Just he'd become very tired, so his last day was spent doing nothing more than being given treats and resting his head on my arm as I snuggled him. He was toothpurring right up to the end. Couldn't ask for a better passing, for either of us.
