The costume design does make some interesting choices!

I'd ask if you played in my uni DnD group OP but frankly I think we've all met another player like this at some point, they get around. xD

But honestly, I think it's fair to ask about tweaking or bending a rule(especially the standard rules because some of them are just plain stupid, 3rd Ed spot rules are fucking bonkers played as-is by the rulebook), but if the DM tells you no then that's their answer and you accept it.

Insofar as conspiracy theories go a rigged competition is hardly that far out, hell most competition TV shows are rigged in some manner they just edit it to make it seem like there is more than one contestant who can win.

So unless this theory is really wacky and out there it wouldn't seem overly implausible to me?

The "conspiracy" is juries. That's it. An easy way of controlling the vote. Numerically, Finland couldn't catch Sweden after that. I did enjoy that short era when it was all wild and free voting.
