I like the book Good Omens better than the live action, and the most I ship Aziraphale/Crowley in any version is "aww, how cute!"

But if the recent spoiler isn't a fakeout, I'm happy for the hardcore shippers. And it's got my (foolish) hopes up for another Gaiman adaptation, because if Hob and Morpheus kissed onscreen I'd scream my fangirl head off.

Which is dumb because a) Sandman is full of canonically LGBT+ characters, I should be content on that score b) between the WGA strike and Netflix's usual one, two, thr—cancel! bs, I don't know if there'll be more seasons, much less get to the end which is the most likely point to have them kiss and c) it would still be sad if they did because the last time Hob and Morpheus see each other SPOILER

... Morpheus is already dead.
