The one thing I hope from Dragon Age Dreadwolf (and honestly from any and all upcoming RPGs with romance systems) is the return of DA2's no gender-locking of LIs. These games are power fantasies underneath it all and being able to bed the romance option of choice should be part of the package. There's plenty of room to tell fully gay (or fully straight) stories with companions and NPCs who aren't romanceable. And if you're concerned about "realism", why are you playing a fantasy game in the first place?
