Earliest Song/Singer or Band You Remember Hearing?

What were the earliest songs you remember listening to or what performer do you remember listening to the most?

For me its a toss up between listening to this one radio station my Mum used to listen to a lot when I was a baby (and still does to this day) and the music my Dad always played when driving in his car.

The radio station is called Magic and usually plays old music mixed with the occasional new songs. I remember being so obsessed with the song 'You Gotta Be' by Des'ree and got so excited whenever it played on the radio as a little kid. The station also used to play a lot of Queen and Abba songs too that I remember the most (especially A Kind of Magic by Queen because that would sometimes be the radio's advertising tune because of the Magic part).
With the car driving music it was usually Blondie, Meatloaf or Madness (pretty sure Blondie's 'Picture This' was the one I used to try to sing along to as an annoying child lol).

when I was a kid in the '70s. Maybe Elton John, Leo Sayer, or the Bee Gees.

My very earliest music memories are of going to classical concerts with my dad. He used to get free tickets because he wrote reviews for newspapers, and he'd always take either me or my sister with him. Mozart was always my favorite as a little kid.

Oh, and also, he used to sing in the Boston Pops. So I remember going to their concerts. My favorites were the summer ones at Tanglewood because we'd go and stay for a long weekend. And we'd always stop at friendlies and get chocolate shakes on the drive up. And there would always be a pops concert where they'd do soundtrack-type things like Star Wars music.

I don't know if it's THE earliest song I can remember hearing, but it's one of the earliest - Tears for Fears' "Everybody Wants to Rule the World". I have a vague memory of hearing it on the car radio when my dad was taking me to preschool.

Billy Joel. It was the 80s, and my parents are both big music appreciators, so I heard a lot of his stuff as a little kid.

Then I didn't hear any of his stuff for like ten years until I had a friend who was really into him and wound up listening to it again a lot, and I realized it really was that good.

Probably the original cast recording of 'Camelot' - my mom would play it. I loved the 'May' song.

Earliest memories are probably The Weavers, Pete Seeger, or both.

My father was a big fan. They were the first songs I learned to sing along to.
