IMO, not having any interest in the subject is a perfectly valid reason for not watching a thing.

I probably would, too. "Has no soul" is more of a deal-breaker for me than technical imperfections.

My opinion of the MCU tv shows seems to be the exact opposite of the rest of the fandom's. I absolutely adored Hawkeye and Ms Marvel is currently my #1. However, I was not impressed by Wandavision and found Loki downright terrible.

I kind of miss some old fandom-related slang (such as "haters to the left").

DA, but I do wonder how much of the hate of these two entries boils down to "lead is woman." Because the femtagonist is clearly the canon route for Valhalla.

This is hilarious, like Western TV isn't saturated with revenge fantasies or shitty reveals.

After playing the Final Fantasy XVI demo, I was pretty shocked at how incredibly dated it looks. In particular the character models and their movements (and I'm not even talking about the styling). It reminds me a lot of Dragon's Dogma, actually, and that one is over ten years older. And still had better proportions, somehow.
(Also, some sameface on NPCs is to be expected but I felt like every single male character had the exact same very oval face model that looks somewhere between babyface and mildly bloated.)

Whenever I hear a song that samples heavily from an older song all I want to do is go and listen to the older song instead. I guess I'm officially too old to appreciate modern music anymore.

I did not expect to love Bayek as much as I did! He is actually a very close second to Kassandra.

Valhalla is just an awful game. Beautiful! But just awful to play and the character is unlikeable.

Sounds like you have some self esteem issues you need to work on and are projecting hard core.

Using slang or terminology from a country where the fandom character is not from is bad characterization. Sure writers can just not care about characterization and just write their tropes, but it's not unfair or unreasonable for others to find that annoying or just lazy writing.

Agreed. I had nothing to do with Voltron aside from my OTP also being on Tumblr's Top 20 Ships of the week and yet I still ran into insane Klance shippers and their antics. Did not have the same experience with the other ship.

This would only be hypocritical if I were, personally, up in a bunch of British fandoms writing fics full of American lingo.

First of all, I'm not harassing any authors, and I'm complaining about a country where the vast majority are native English speakers.

And if you aren't bothered by this issue, go off I guess. More stories for you to enjoy. But dialog that sounds so out of character is like a discordant note and for most is impossible to ignore...
