... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and I'll try my best to use an appropriate image choice.

Just to clarify - it's my intention to make all the secrets left in this thread, so even if they're not marked claimed, they will be made. I'll monitor this thread until tomorrow's secret post goes up, so feel free to leave your comments until then!

The credits for Marvel's Secret Invasion series are so fricking weird they are actively puþing me off watching more of it. I know they wanted something unsettling,but they really overshot the mark.

I've always said that I want a Star Trek medical show, but what I really mean is I want them to take the old Flying Doctors soap opera and just Trekify it. Replace the aircraft with shuttles, Australian outback with outer space, and we're done.

I want a remake of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but with Buffy played by a trans girl. There would be so much opportunity for commentary on assumed Gender Roles. Bonus Secret: I want her to be a non passing trans girl too.

A few months ago, a couple of people in one of my fandoms made a FMV.

The best thing I can say about it is that the creators have good technical editing skills. Things in the video happen on the beat of the song, and that's about it. It doesn't tell a story, or have a theme. It's not commentary on the show.

It's not atrocious. It's not low quality. It obviously took a long time to make. I would rank it in my top ten FMV for this fandom. It's fine.

Everyone acts like it's the most amazing video ever made. It's being promoted EVERYWHERE in the fandom. There was a monthiversary celebration post for it. I just saw a poll for the best way to introduce the show: the actual show trailer or THIS FMV.

I now hate this FMV.

I mostly post or have secrets made to promote my favorite YouTube channels. That way I can give my husband a bit of a break by not talking about them with him all the time.

People keep asking why Pixar has lost its magic, and screaming woke at it, but the answer isn't that they are woke.
It is they keep on making and remaking the same damn movie over and over again: What if things that are not people are people.

This is sucha dumb thing to get worked up over, but it really bothers me that they gave Ambrosius short hair. The long hair felt integral to his identity, he just doesn't feel like himself without it.

Most Thai BL is incredibly bad soft-core/or hard-core porn.

Which I'm not knocking on it's own merits, nothing wrong with watching something where the only vague sense of 'plot' is when the two pretty dudes are going to kiss/have sex next. But I wish more Thai BL fans were honest about what they are watching because when I want to watch something that's actually decent I can't trust their recs because 90% of them will rec the bad shit.

Recently finished Final Fantasy 9 for maybe the fifth time in my life. I still love the game so much and Vivi is one of my favourite FF characters for his storyline.

It really pales in comparison to FF7 and FF8 imo and I think that’s because they learned from their mistakes in those games (adding Zack last minute to explain Cloud’s behaviour and the whole time shenanigans in FF8).

Not a secret: I think the creators/writers of Dawson’s Creek, How I Met Your Mother, and Teen Wolf all had serious target fixation issues with their lead male characters, Dawson Leery, Ted Mosby, and Scott McCall.

Also not a secret: I liked Pacey Witter, Marshall Eriksen, and Stiles Stilinski so much more.

Secret: I never wanted any of the shows to make Pacey, Marshall, or Stiles the lead because even though I enjoyed how their characters were written for the most part, I’m pretty sure the creators/writers focus on them in that way would have damaged their characters.

Fandoms: Star Wars Rey/Kylo, and Shadow and Bone Alina/Kirigan.

I don't judge the fans of these ships for being into something ~problematic or ~toxic or what have you.

I judge them for having the most boring fucking fanfic in existence.

Like come on, the potential for dark-queen Rey and Alina is RIGHT THERE, or even really fucked up hate-sex, yet 90% of it is the most Hallmark twee schlock I've ever seen. If I wanted basic-ass het ships I'd go find fic for literally any other m/f ship.

For fandoms that make a big deal about how they're into 'dark' and 'fucked up' content the fanwork is really fucking basic.

(If people have links to the actual fucked-up fic for either fandom I'll take them because I got bored and gave up).

I don't understand why Witcher fans love Nivellen, he's a disgusting rapist yet the fans hold him up as some great philosopher and sad victim.

I read the book after fans were raving about him and I was so disgusted I never read another Witcher story.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is my favorite AC game. Kassandra is my favorite character in any game I've ever played.

S!B: I only learned after I finished playing and went to share my enthusiasm that most AC fans seem to hate this game and look down on those who enjoyed it.

My biggest regret about watching FMA:Brotherhood at this time in my life, is that I'm not going to be able to read or write a bunch of Van Hoenheim fic as I'm taking a break from fandom at large.

I thought I'd be more into Roy, or even Havoc or Miles, hell, definitely Scar, but here we are.

I tried reading Lord of the Rings but it's so male-centered I just couldn't get into it.

It's a shame. I wish I read it earlier in my life when I didn't care so much about that type of thing. But hot damn am I tired of a lifetime of all male all the time stories.

I'm not a big Star Wars fan, but I did love Rogue One, and I'll forever be salty that Bodhi Rook got so royally shafted in terms of merch.

have watched a total of one half an episode of Supernatural and never actually participated in fandom or read anything about it. However it is my go to fandom when I'm in the mood to find some really fucked up kinky fic. Bless those weirdos for never failing to deliver.

I never understood why Peggy/Angie was so popular in Agent Carter fandom, when Peggy/Dottie was right there with a far more interesting (to me) dynamic. I thought enemy shipping was a thing in fandom.

I know different things appeal to different people, and I’m not mad about it. I just never got it. Maybe because I never understood the fandom fascination with Angie anyway, other than as someone to ship Peggy with.
