Uh I love the manga and had no idea there was an anime airing right now! Wow!

Idk tho, I don't think it can top Evangelion in term of most fucked up and incomprensibile anime, especially since heavenly delusion actually makes sense in the manga (until now I guess).
Evangelion.... EEEEEEEH too much random stuff and symbolism that was overanalyzed over time. In the end it's a fairly simple story with some psichology trown inside and a fucked up time line (because of the movies etc). And I say this as a huge Evangelion fan.

Idk tho if they changed the story in the heavenly delusion anime.
Will check it out and maybe comment the secret when it's posted!

This, good lord. 13-year old me thought the original series was the most complicated thing ever. Then the Rebuilds came along and I've never appreciated the original series/EoE more. Rebuild is gorgeous to look at but a complete trainwreck in terms of pacing, characterization and storytelling and too much focus on fanservice. IMO. Also say this as a huge Evangelion fan.
