NA - I get being taken out of the fic by it, but being angry about it seems kind of weird and entitled, especially considering how prevalent unchecked Americanisms are in non-US-centric fandoms.

I do understand frustration I prefer fics keeping cultural/linguistic theme of the canon too. And I miss like 90% of this since I am not from English speaking country. But wow wow way to be hypocritical

This would only be hypocritical if I were, personally, up in a bunch of British fandoms writing fics full of American lingo.
