Yep. They're funny. Love em.

I think that's really the level of joke that Tiktok excels at. That's Tiktok's wheelhouse. Sorta basic but still funny.

Vine instead of TikTok, but I still think about this guy pretending to be the keyboard player/drummer on Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas is You" and crack up.

I don't have TikTok (old/quit social media) but this sounds great, do you have any examples?

the ones that tend to be the funniest are the "backup singers" to tupac "hit em up" because he's very uh angry?

ex: https://www.tiktok.com/@vibin.wit.tay/video/7207459766224850219?lang=en

I've also seen like the drummer or something to Whitney Houston's "it's not right but it's okay"

AFAIK Caitie Delaney kicked that off - I wonder what it's like to watch something like that spread out through the tiktok humour ecosystem

They got taken off witter and I don't have tiktok (old) but there's a roundup of them here: https://www.vulture.com/article/caitie-delaney-music-engineer-videos.html

I probably have come across one or two of those fake musicians/producers, but I tend to click away from those who don't have anything to add.

My "go to" is Tank the Tech because he does have stuff to add and insights, being that he is an actual guitar tech/roadie.
