Huh? Do most people hate him? I must hanging around with just cool people I guess.

I agree WWX isn't the most interesting protagonist post-resurrection, but JC occupies the javert role a bit too much for me to want him to be the protagonist instead.

No they don't, if anything, he's one of the more popular side characters.

Oh, yes. He's one of the most hated characters if not the most. He does have his fans, but most of the JC content I've seen around is angry rants on how he's the worst and completely irredeemable.

No. JC fans' persecution complex is bigger than JC's daddy issues.

JC is my fave character in CQL but I like that he's a fucked up mess who makes consistently bad choices and I acknowledge his place in the story as an occasional antagonist. To the JC fandom, this makes me a hater.

Yes and no. As the conversations under this secret have clued you in, he is the ultimate base-breaking character of the show, so the reactions to him tend to be on the extremes. You either think he's complex and interesting and deserved better. Or you find him a complete monster who deserves no sympathy. It's difficult to find someone expressing a neutral opinion about him (mostly because they get drowned out by the other two camps).
