So, is that where lasered space ships come from?

Sorry to interrupt, but Suikoden V is a really, really bad example of a game without pretty men off to save the world from the forces of darkness. Protagonist could put all the women in the game, and all the women from the previous incarnations, to shame.

6. Trust me, if I advertised the fandomsecrets to a fan forum (in most cases it's the only fan forum around) where there's about 10 regular members on average, and they actually joined, they'd be able to tell which secrets were mine. And if fandomsecrets does get big, then the only people who will 'get' my secrets are those who are in my fandom, which is small... so I'll still have the problem of people not getting my secrets.

Honestly? I have no problem with the X-Box series. This isn't a "this one's better omggg" kind of thing, but I guess I'm just saying they both have their strong points with me. Just, at the time they came out, the ps2 had more games I was interested in, so that's what I got.

And, I guess I should put this in here, I really don't care much for the FF games either. The only one I actually wanted to play was FFIX, which everyone seems to hate DX Most of the games I play on my PS2 are the old ps1 games ._.;

I'll admit, though, there really are some interesting things with the x-box that tempts me. Like ripping the game soundtracks, some of the games, that kind of thing. If I could actually afford it, I probably would get one.

1. I could afford only one console system. PS2 had the Final Fantasy series. Choice was easy.

3. She is so funny.

[identity profile] lostremnant.livejournal.com 2007-04-03 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
Oooh nice.

Hotness skips a generation?

I bet that saved a lot of production money.

7. IT'S NOT A SECRET IF IT'S OBVIOUS WHO WROTE IT ♥

but I'm guilty of the same thing lol

On 3, there are so many 'major' characters who just don't get me going as much as the minor ones, and she definitely perks up the story when involved.

3. Isn't she? I love the series, but she is usually part of the lighter moments that help to keep it from dragging.

QFT. Seriously. I fucking love the Xbox, and I love the Xbox 360 too. People say they have a lack of good RPGs, but they only lack in size, because when there are games like Morrowind for the Xbox and Oblivion for the 360, you don't need alot. ♥

[identity profile] kinneas.livejournal.com 2007-04-03 06:31 am (UTC)(link)
Also it had "On fire" as a status ailment 8D

[identity profile] zhoutaisdayoff.livejournal.com 2007-04-03 06:34 am (UTC)(link)
I was "on fire" a lot in that game, didn't really seem to do anything.

[identity profile] kinneas.livejournal.com 2007-04-03 06:35 am (UTC)(link)
That status ailment just cracks me up.

I really really really hate most RPGs.

[identity profile] kinneas.livejournal.com 2007-04-03 06:36 am (UTC)(link)
See, it's interesting, I loathed the original Xbox for that exact same reason, and also the fact that they exploded 8D But as I worked the 360 launch and have sold Microsoft crap for well over a year now, I've come to learn that the Xbox division of Microsoft is completely separate from the rest of the corporation. They build quality products, have excellent customer service, fantastic marketing, and have really taken the time to make the playing experience as absolutely enjoyable as possible in every aspect from controller comfort to Live! maintenance. Not only that, but 360's got a WHOLE lot of stuff that's completely expanded the userbase beyond Forza and Halo.

...........YOU SOUND LIKE YOU'VE BEEN BRIBED

[identity profile] kinneas.livejournal.com 2007-04-03 06:46 am (UTC)(link)
1. I wasn't so much a fan of Xbox as I was a few select games (and good fucking lord I hate Halo), but goddammit if 360 is not an absolutely fantastic system with really good games.

I may bitch at work about how people that play nothing but shitty FPSs and Nascar games all day need to broaden their horizons, but really, so do RPG folk. A quick play of Gears of War or Hitman: Blood Money (or Kane and Lynch, when it comes out) or Geometry Wars would do a lot of people some good.
