This is kind of a tangent, kind of related to what you were saying about the het porn vibes. Sometimes I think authors writing a character as trans don't want to be offensive by tagging it with kinks like feminization or breeding. Or maybe some people are ashamed of being into "problematic" kinks like that, lol. I don't know why, what you said about using a trans character instead of genderbending might be true for some too. But it honestly weirds me out more when it's not tagged that way but the entire fic is suddenly about the big strong cis man character PIV impregnating the girly submissive trans man character, or another kinky scenario that seems to come out of nowhere. Nothing against the kinks, I enjoy stuff like that myself sometimes, but when it's not what I'm looking for I... would rather read something else. I do wish authors would tag kinks more often both for when I want to read and don't want to read!
