Boohoo, people don't want about your totally not het PIV sex in a gay fic, cry me a river. If someone doesn't want to read that, sucks for you, but it's still their decision and not yours. And if someone doesn't want surprise cunt in their m/m smut, though shit, you'll just have to deal with that.
Also, a LOT of those stories are written exactly the same as het smut scenes, vocabulary, stereotyped characterisation and all. There is a reason why plenty of people have the impression that it's just het disguised as gay with the added bonus to cash in on "look I'm so progressive" points and if your fic looks like that to someone it probably just sucks.

"It's het just because the parts involved" is transphobic. It's still a gay ship. You guys just don't want to admit how ingrained "vagina = woman" is to you.

Which is fine, and not really going against anything ayrt said. They didn’t say that you have to want to read vaginas in your m/m smutfic, or that there shouldn’t be labels. At least, they didn’t say it in the specific comment you responded to.

They were just pointing out that it’s transphobic to call it het when it’s sex between two men, just because one happens to have a vagina. Because he’s still a man. The couple of two men isn’t suddenly straight because of the genitalia of one of the men not being a penis. There is an ingrained misconception in society that “vagina=women” and that’s very likely where calling it het when it isn’t comes from. Besides transphobia, even unintentional transphobia.
