It looks dumb to you that they're wearing a wig. On television. When they're also wearing the sort of clothes that make me hope literal dragons are a part of this setting.

Okay, but. As someone who's never had to wear a wig in my life, and was more or less used to the idea that if someone is wearing a wig, they want others to act like it is their hair, if that's at all feasible, I just ... have little criteria for telling the difference. And given the amount of people in this secret thread disagreeing about whether these are "bad" wigs, it would be nice if people who don't like them explained what's offending them so. Instead of coming up with synonyms for "looks stupid."

That one person who said "this skin tone doesn't look like it belongs with that hair tone" gave me something I can find out more about, at least. The other person who said most wig hair that's actually made from real hair comes from Asia, and so if the end product is light colored, it has to be severely bleached, came up with something I had no idea about at all.
