Ah dang. Good luck. I've started downloading all the fics I read. Got over 1500 downloaded! Did she say why she deleted them?

No idea! It was a complete coincidence that I even noticed - one of their longer fics is one of my absolute favourites, so when the DDOS attack on AO3 happened I opened it at a time when I had access to read it when the site would be down for me as well.

And then suddenly yesterday I got a 404 error when the tab reloaded, with both the fic and their whole profile gone.

Thank god for the wayback machine!

I used to download fics when I still had an e-reader but mine broke. Maybe I should look into getting one again....
