Sorry about that, and I mean it from the bottom of my heart anon because I am kind of in the same boat in a different way - the "close to no friends except for one who probably thinks they're getting the silent treatment because I am too depressed and tired and physically ill to message them in 364 days in a year plus a few close relatives that are getting tired too" way. So it's a bad era but oh boy when hasn't it been.

All I can safely say is some days are worse than others and even if you are having a miserable day today (which seems like it. Same here!) tomorrow will be another day and maybe you will find the energy or inspiration you need to turn your life around for good.

Thank-you for your kind words. They really help. I'm glad you've got some decent-ish relatives; with those, you're probably in about the same situation as I am with friends.

But it's a long road that has no turning, as they say. My life has always been this way. I have less-bad days, and the best I can hope for is that tomorrow will be a less-bad day; but the next day? Who can tell. I try and will keep on trying. Hope you can do the same. {hugs}
