I'm sorry everyone. This secret wasn't worded the best (I'm ESL, I get words wrong sometimes) and you all got the wrong idea. This isn't about PIV (well, it is a bit but that's a negligible bit), it's about how when characters are made trans for the purposes of smut the text tends to lean a lot into their new assigned at birth gender. So these stories end up with like overtly feminized transmen. PIV to me is mostly a thing that compounds these issues as it's the only allowed sex act in these scenarios. But I don't have issues with it in general in trans fics. I made a longer post above as a reply to a comment if you're interested.

But yeah, sorry about the confusion.

I can understand what you meant, don't worry about all the drama too much anyway. This is a topic that brings up lots of related fandom beefs. People would likely have started arguing no matter how you worded it.

DA

This is a very good meta-point. Don't feel bad, OP.

You're probably not reading this thread anymore anon, but if it means anything to you, I knew exactly what you meant (that you don't like it when an author feminizes a trans character to the point that it's clear that they think of him as "the girl", which is irritating enough when they invariably do it to the character who is going to bottom in cis gay sex, but takes on a whole new level of awful when they invariably do it to the trans man) but people are projecting their own issues onto your words.
