Animal showing, and poultry fancying, are big fandoms in rural areas. Just because they are not traditional nerdy online fandoms doesn't mean they are not fandoms.

Yeah, I feel like there's been a real tension in this regard lately. I recall an anon disputing YouTube fandoms not too long ago, which struck me as strange.
