Well, yeah. It might be difficult for some to believe that Ezra Miller's behavior might significantly damage the movie's chances at the box office because historically, bad behavior from a white male lead isn't the dealbreaker that fandom or the internet believes it should be. I'm not saying that's right, just that when people get alarmed or upset about the problematic nature of a piece of media, they don't always realize that there are a lot of people who 1) haven't heard and/or 2) don't care, because they're outside of fandom or social media.

Yeah. And a lot of people never got onboard with the idea that actors are supposed to run around being good or that we've got a moral obligation to boycott them if we find out that they did something bad. I go to movies about things I want to see, and not to ones that sound boring. Ezra Miller looks sharp, at least some of the time, but I can't think of any actor right now who would convince me that I want to buy a ticket to watch The Flash. He picked a shit superhero franchise to be associated with.

Yeah, one of my friends is a comic book guy who has always liked The Flash, and he went to the movie and enjoyed it.

However, he had to go alone, because nobody else wanted to see it. Whether the reason is superhero fatigue or "Ezra Miller sucks and I don't want to give the studio promoting him money" (that would be me), that's the outcome for this box office attempt, anyway.

I think the fact that there's already a show added to the fatigue, to be honest.
