well, one, Ezra Miller has a very different fanbase from Chris Brown

and two, we're talking about a movie that already failed - the argument is about why it failed. it's not the case that Miller is continuing to be successful and popular.

I don't think Miller really has a particular devoted fanbase, they're just an actor trying to appeal to the general movie-going public. My point was more that Chris Brown's fanbase is very niche and unusual in their willingness to ignore him being an acknowledged piece of shit.
