(Anonymous) 2023-07-30 09:36 pm (UTC)(link)Star Trek Discovery would have been a lot better, and less controversial, if they hadn't included the Burnham was Spock's secret human sister angle. It added nothing to the character, and just created a lot of stupid arguing. And it was still copying an overused fanfic trope. It would have been a more enjoyable show and fandom without all that. I have no idea why they thought it was a good idea in the first place.
