Hey, so they're making a sequel to Twister.

It's called Twisters and it started filming in May (and halted due to the strike). Apparently, it focuses on Bill and Jo's daughter and it looks like none of the original cast will have any real billing, though I guess there might be cameos. I'm not really sure what to think of it.

I saw that. I'm mildly interested. Twister was one of my favorite movies as a kid lol.

I think they're trying to make sequels to other old movies too.

Twister is AMAZING trash! The way they develop the storm chasers is great. The dinner scene at Aunt Meg's is just plain How You Write Ensemble.

It has the potential to be fun, right? I mean the first one was just two groups racing to learn more about tornadoes by getting *really* close to tornadoes. That's all I want, people getting too close to tornadoes and doing science and being ridiculous.
