I've got a whole lot of people on my dash talking about how the Oppenheimer movie is a travesty because it doesn't pay homage to the people of Los Alamos who were evicted, irradiated, and left to live in poverty to this day, and that it's just about a bunch of white guys.

I'm just sitting there like - no shit? It's not called "The People of Los Alamos", it's called "Oppenheimer" for a reason! The reason is because it's about a guy named Oppenheimer!

Yes, it's terrible what happened to the local people, but I didn't go to "Barbie" expecting an exposé on the conditions in which they're manufactured.

I think it's more, "We always get films about the white guys who commit the atrocities and are given flicks about how we should feel so sorry for how bad they feel, but never really the victims."

That might be true on your dash, but on mine it's very much a case of "they didn't talk about this and should have"
