My forever top contender for this category of TV: The Good Place.

Seconded.

Sure it maybe takes a little while for characters to really hit their full vibe, but it's got funny moments from episode one until the end. And I really liked the wrap up season. Just a good solid weird comedy.

I get that show mixed up with Boston Public, which is hilarious because they have nothing in common other than Boston.

MASH. I think it only got better as it went on.

Golden Girls. But that hard for a sitcom I guess.

Breaking Bad for a newer show.

Babylon 5. Season 5 was slightly lower quality but still good.

Star Trek: TNG and DS9.

Legend of the Seeker.

Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Buffy.

TNG finished strong but it definitely didn't start strong. Arguably DS9 didn't either (although its first season was way better than TNG's).

Did you read the Legend of the Seeker books (Sword of Truth)? If yes, how did you think the show compared? I was interested in the show but quickly grew to hate the series - I made it three books in before the sexism and writing got to me. But I've been looking for a solid fantasy show to watch.

Owl House for sure. Also Gravity Falls, which probably is because the creator wanted to end it on his own terms.

Fuck I really need to get back to watching Owl House. What a good show. I'm mid way through season 2.

the creators of those shows were dating around the time Gravity Falls was showing so it’s no wonder they have similar feeling

What a good cartoon. Solid story from start to finish. The characters, the story, the music, I love everything about that show.

Life on Mars UK

The Woodentops, Magic Roundabout, Ivor the Engine, Wallace and Gromit, Andy Pandy, Morecambe and Wise, Colditz, Pride and Prejudice '95 (that might not count?)

Life on Mars UK was amazing. I rewatch it every couple of years.

Halt And Catch Fire just got better each season. It did ultimately get cancelled, but I'm pretty sure they knew from the start of S4 that it was their last, and they ended the series beautifully, IMO.

Adventure Time, Ripper Street (That might be the only thing these two have in common)

SA - and The Bridge (the Denmark/Sweden one)

She-Ra was really solid through the whole show, but they basically got x-number of episodes once they were green-lit after season1 so they could tell the story exactly how they wanted. Which I think is the main factor in a show being good or not.

It's why for me most Korean shows are structurally good, there's some the flop towards the end because the writers idk, forget what they were doing? But for the most part Korean shows have a solid beginning, middle and end because the team knows how long they'll get to tell a story.

Frasier was mostly solid. It has a few wobbles here and there in the mid-seasons but overall I'd say that it sticks the landing well and managed to stay decent for it's whole runtime.

SA.

DARK. How could I forget Dark? But this show was also good and was very solid the whole way through. Idk if they were given season 2+3 so they knew how much time they had, but overall they did a very good job. (It's why I'm still so salty that 1899 got cancelled, like, fuck you Netflix I know this writing team are good).
