Thank you, OP!

LMAO this is absolutely not real

Also it would mean they chickened out twice by pulling out of the original plan to keep him evil and then killing him off for no reason after he's redeemed in TROS, thereby not actually making the Reylos happy.

(And worst of all, giving me only three items of official Reylo merch. If we're so goddammit powerful, fucking commit to catering to us dammit.)

>It was supposed to be a message to young girls that just because you want to fix someone, it doesn’t mean you’ll always succeed. However, the powers that be chickened out when they saw how huge the Reylo fandom was

I find this sequence of events rather difficult to believe. I don't even like Reylo and I still can't imagine that it wasn't the planned endgame from the beginning. It's nearly the only thing the trilogy agreed with itself about.

Also, this claim fits hilariously precisely into the anti-whatever narrative about how events in fiction directly control everyone's morality in real life.

Plus, with the account in question being suspended... well, actually, with the way Reddit's been run lately, I guess that doesn't mean anything one way or the other.

Oh my god that's what the post says???

Ahahahahahahahahaha fakest thing of all time, literal 0% that's true. Like, it could not more clearly being a wanker lying for the purposes of wank.

I literally don't know how anyone could believe that was true for a second.

That was never the plan. Like, ever. The original third movie had a script you can read and Kylo gives his life force to Rey to save her after she embraces the idea that the dark side is valuable when balanced with the light side. There’s this whole expository thing about it and it brings him to the light side and then sacrifices himself for her.

I think some of that made it into TROS but I never watched it. After TLJ I admitted to myself I really don’t care about Star Wars other than the original trilogy.
