I refuse to read stories/novels/fic with nonbinary characters who use they/them pronouns because the few times I did, I got super confused. Not sure if it's my being ESL kicking my butt despite being pretty fluent or if authors just really, really suck at writing with those pronouns in a way that isn't confusing but I guess it's a bit of both.

I don't fucking care what pronouns nonbinary people use. Me not wanting to read longer fictional stories with they/them singular pronouns being used consistently for a fictional character doesn't invalidate whatever pronouns a real life nonbinary person wants to use.
