I feel this way about a lot of fandom slacktivists, especially the kind that focuses on telling other people how to be activists without doing anything themselves. This is just the latest in a long, long, long, long list.

I think a lot of people agree with this.

TBH, the artist's BS "we put a lot of thought into the voice cast" response tanked my interest a whole lot more effectively than the voices themselves.

It didn't seem weird to me. People die or go missing in those mountains all the time, especially when they're hiking alone, even experienced hikers. Finding the bodies is something of a crapshoot, just because there is so much rough terrain to look for them in. Julian Sands was fairly well known, so it became national news this time. I'm glad his body was found for the sake of his family and friends.

This is the first time I'm hearing about anything like this, most fandom-chatter I see about the strikes are ones of support for the actors and writers taking part.

Haven't watched it but then I don't have Apple TV. I want to be excited when people's stuff gets adapted but I always have that fear it won't be as good.
