As a Trans Person(tm) I really wish people spent half as much effort doing anything that actually helps trans people in any way, as they do arguing about Harry Potter (in either direction).
I don't give a shit if someone is still a Harry Potter fan. As long as you can acknowledge that the author is a massive dick and you're not giving her money, it doesn't really matter. (I do think it's an annoying fandom for an overrated book series but lbr that was already true before Rowling went mask off, and it's not a reason to harass them.)

Fellow Trans(tm) and hard agree. At this point the whole argument is cis people fighting amongst themselves, condemning other cis people for clout, and actual trans people, trans lives, trans wellbeing, is just the ammunition, lol.

Also trans (ftm) and definitely agree :( its been really telling how much people care more about getting mad at HP fans than actually care about actual trans people in general.
