See, I see it from the opposite POV. I think most people are thinking 'I find one or both hot' when they say they have chemistry. And it's only when someone doesn't find the individuals particularly appealing on their own that you can be sure that they have chemistry.

Though, on a different topic, I though Armie Hammer and Timothy Chamalet had minus chemistry in CMBYN, and do think that most people who though they had chemistry just found one or both hot (and/or the scenario).

Yeah, I'm with you there-- I see a LOT of 'two hot people with no real chemistry' (and part of that is that they don't do chemistry tests anymore as a rule).
