I'm getting over a cold with a whole load of tea and thinking about making a hot toddy before I go to bed.

That is honestly an uplifting point.

I've been writing and pondering what an immortal character would be like, and his starting point is honestly a very tragic one (child soldier, genocidal war on the losing side, losing friends), but with an ending that allowed him to come to terms with everything.

The fact he'd be immortal, could also be one where he not only heals in some ways, but even becomes someone entirely different, but not for the worse. We humans are in a constant state of change, and we're not the same people we were in early childhood, nor as teens, nor as adults, and probably won't be at our old ages.

Someone with a lot of time, being in a lot of environments, or meeting a lot of people, would be someone that would be in a constant state of change. It would be far worse if for all the millions of years you lived, you somehow stayed the exact same.

I think the name Pip would be a pretty cute name for a cat.

My friend had a cat named Molly, but would often give her endless amount of other names relating to the nickname Mouse like Mousey and Lady Mouse.
