No, except to chew them. And she won't climb in boxes on the floor. What made this one ideal was it was stacked. She's a climber. Probably born in a tree. :)

A favorite author of mine posted thirteen chapters at once the other day, so I’m enjoying reading the comments other people are posting (I already read and commented, though I might reread it all because the last chapter has some revelations and there’s bound to be foreshadowing that I missed).

Second adolescence.

I got a backpack today!!!!! And I reserved my campsite for one night next week and I’m reading about the do’s and don’ts and I’m just loving every second of it. I don’t know why it never occurred to me that at any point in my adult life I could just go backpacking/camping after a childhood and adolescence of being told no. I think I just thought as a kid that if you didn’t grow up doing that stuff, then you couldn’t when you got older. I’ve been doing all kinds of stuff I always wanted to do but had drummed into my head from a young age that it wasn’t suitable for me for whatever reason.
