Eh, someone out there will find Mr. Rogers falling short of their standards because he wasn't perfect or had to navigate a certain era to the best of his ability (as opposed to being 100% woke by today's "wokest" standards). ayrt's point is to keep in mind that we're all human.

But this. A celebrity did something you think is a big mistake = they're humans. Even the ones that are brilliant musicians or actors rarely have transcendent insight about how to live well.

yeah this is a good reason not to stan but also, the response to this...like i do not think crossing the picket line or defending your rapist friend are in fact the immutable eventualities of every celebrity lmao
