Nice choice of image, Secret Maker. Thanks for your tireless efforts to keep this place going.

For the record, I wasn't talking 10 year olds, I was talking English 16/17 year olds, where it's totally legal in that country, but they're aged up for the comfort of countries where the age of consent is 18.

Reading things like 'in my Harry Potter universe, they start school older than in canon, so they're all over 18 during 6th year!' makes me irrationally annoyed.

Where as 'Harry and co went back to do 7th year, (as 8th year students) so they're all over 18 in this story' doesn't bother me at all, because it makes sense story wise.

Even besides real-world age of consent, in Harry Potter insisting on 18 when in universe wizards' age of majority is 17 is a bit silly.
