I mean, I don't think a full-on English Lit analysis is the only way to leave critique? Even just hearing what didn't land for them or a scene that felt off could help me, they don't need to explain why.

Dude idk what to tell you, but I'm not talking about an essay either - sometimes brains no think enough to come up with whatever satisfying comment your looking for.

Or maybe, since you're convinced that your fics are bad-enough to need suggestions for improvement; that the stories themselves just don't inspire anyone to come up with a way to 'make it better' and are just that mediocre?

Eh. I mean, if you feel that would be useful to you, then great. I'm just not sure how "I didn't like this scene" is going to tell you very much. It could be any number of things, and how are you going to know what it is? Sometimes readers can't figure out WHY they dislike something, which means they're not going to be able to give you quality feedback.
