I loved my dad’s record collection and to this day all my faves are songs and bands I know thanks to him. Everything from late 50s and early 60s (love me some Shirelles and Penguins and Johnny Rivers, Fats Domino, Chuck Berry, and of course Frankie Vallie) up through the early 70s. I also like quite a bit that has come out in my lifetime but probably less than 30 songs released after I graduated high school in 94. Most of what I love has distinct ties to what he introduced me to as a toddler.
