Have you successfully trained your taste buds back to normal? Covid ruined the taste (and smell) of peanut butter, coffee, roasted deli meats, and arugala. The peanut butter is the real loss since I used to eat PB&Js (plus various peanut based candies) all the time.

I've tried all the alternative nut butters but they are all just awful. Most are too wet or taste bland. So...I've been trying to eat peanut butter to train myself to enjoy it again. Results are mixed. I can eat peanut butter now but it still tastes sort of funky. Trying to convince my body this is how it always tasted.

Are these Ricardians who "ruin" everything by not making Richard a two-dimensional cartoon villain in the room with us right now? Even Philippa Gregory, whom everyone cites as part of the problem, succumbed to the Tudor propaganda and turned him incestuous! And, trust, the people who insist on turning Henry VII into an ahistorical knight in shining armor are WAY more annoying than the people who want R3 to be a tragic antihero.

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but I was there.

But also, Stranger Things, The Goldbergs, GLOW, Joker, Wonder Woman 1984, Cocaine Bear, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story (new season or released in the last 5 years). And there are a lot of movies and shows made during the 80s available to watch.

So which of you turned into zombies from the national alert?

In general I've never understood adults getting mad at kids or younger adults for not knowing about some pop culture thing that existed 20+ years before they were born. Unless they have parents or other relatives that show them something they're not going to know about it, because that's how time works.

It's flabbergasting I've had to point this out to people my own age as if it's some kind of alien logic. Plus if you're not an asshole about it you're much more likely to get the younger person to be interested in it and even become a fan. Being a dick will only turn them away from it.
