Its kind of funny how people are freaking out in the comments about 'book burning' Harry Potter of all things. Even without taking into account that HP books are probably over produced anyways from past hype and current disposals of peoples collections:
-Libraries exist. Just borrow and keep your local library in business.
-Digital copies exist - even better, you can pirate those digital copies.
-There are better books to read than Harry Potter at this point in the year 2023, why go through the bother of lowering your IQ to read some meh magical series when Percy Jackson is right there.

I would like to see OP trying to get HP out of libraries, buying all the digital copies to then delete them or showing support to those better books than HP. They would look like SpongeBob breaking many of the clocks that Squirdward had in the "Employee of the Month" ep.

Let's be real, "buying all the digital copies to delete them" would be about as effective as what OP is doing now.

Percy Jackson is meh tho. So is Harry Potter for the most part, but it holds nostalgic value for a lot of us that won't be fixed by reading another mediocre kids fantasy series for the first time.
