I mean, the only thing that's definitely canon is that she doesn't show up in part 2 if unrecruited. There's plenty of room for all kinds of headcanons. "She got married and is on her honeymoon", "she turned into a beast and is hiding in the forests", "she ran of to Almyra", "she's actually disguised as one of the random mooks", etc. You can believe what you want and I'll believe what I want.
