Foods you've never had that were worth an expensive price tag

I've never had fancy chocolate that I thought was worth the price. I'll stick with my Lindt and Ghirardelli.

If I've never had something I don't know if it's worth it.

They worded it in an uncommon way. I took it to mean that every time you've tried the food, the high price tag hasn't been worth it. For me that would be fancy waters. When I've been offered a free one at some event or another I haven't ever thought wow, so much better than the cheap stuff. It all tastes the same to me. Only very rarely have I tried some special water and been wowed.

Lindt and Ghiradelli are already fancier than I get! I'm happy with the chocolate selection at Aldi. They've got a decent Lindt knockoff.

As for stuff that wasn't worth the price tag, hmmmm. I'll say breakfast foods. Don't get me wrong, I like breakfast food in general, but eating out is so expensive and honestly, I've never had pancakes as good as what I can make at home.

I enjoy wine tours. But I honestly very rarely enjoy a super expensive wine more than a good quality mid price wine.

Just about all luxury foods. Stuff like lobster, oysters, all other expensive types of crustaceans, truffle, it's all things I find downright disgusting and would never eat.
