I've never heard of the term, and I roleplay here.

That said, yeah, honestly, it bugs me especially when my character has a relationship with theirs, and it turns my character into their comfort dispenser.

Maybe it's me being a storyteller at heart, but I really don't understand why are some people just obsessed with making their puppets suffer as if it was that fucking old Elfen Lied comic or some shit. I can understand putting your characters through misery for the sake of a story, but I can't stand torture porn.
