(Anonymous) 2023-11-21 04:16 am (UTC)(link)I don't understand why people get upset at the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy movie being different from the books. Isn't the point of an adaptation to do something different? Douglas Adams certainly thought so, he made every adaptation do its own thing. The books are different from the radio series, the tv show was different from the books, etc.
