... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best.

Just to clarify - it's my intention to make all the secrets left in this thread, so even if they're not marked claimed, they will be made. I'll monitor this thread until tomorrow's secret post goes up, so feel free to leave your comments until then!

Show: Alchemy of Souls.

This is an otherwise mediocre Kdrama where the characters are all kind of flat but it was entertaining enough to be a casual watch for me, but my god the worst thing about it is that almost all the men have short hair*. If was going to be set in some undetermined fantasy Ye Olde Korea they could have at least let the dudes have long hair. Talk about such a boring aesthetic choice.

*the one guy who even has long hair looses it in part two, like truly, what was the point????

I fell in love with Ser Aymeric at first sight.

Every time I need to talk to him I make sure there's nobody around so I can emote at him.

I did fandom backwards and I now have regrets.

I loved the fic so much I started watching the show. Its a lot of over the top fun and I'm enjoying it, but the actors ruined my OTP.

(They didn't do anything, I just find them annoying for some reason.)

Every time I hear that fanfic will make people "normalize" IRL bad thing , I just think of the fact that I have read and written fictional incest and yet STILL, STILLthe THOUGHT of having any kind of romantic relationship with my siblings is such a turn off that i can't even date ppl who share their names.

A healthy brain of a typical person naturally has firm separations of what is and isn't real and what is and isn't okay in real life. If someone firmly believes something is wrong ,all the fiction about it in the world will not change that.
Meanwhile a person can come away from reading a whole ass book about the damage and trauma that a minor goes through because of a predator creeping on them and STILL come away convinced it's a fucking love story

If you are convinced by FICTION that pedophilia and incest are acceptable to try in real life or even think that reading fic can make you believe it, that's a YOU problem and you need to talk to your mental health provider about it. Not play thought police on the internet.

I like villain origin stories. But I hate when they add in romances (unless they are necessary b/c we know the character had kids). Usually it doesn't make them more sympathetic. Exploring President Snow's past was a great idea, but this just just not it.

B!S: The only thing I hate more is when they vilify a former hero in order to make the villain look better (like in Wicked or Maleficent).

I miss my fandom. But I've been away for more than a year due to various things (work, RL loss, mental health). I'm kind of scared to go back now. And I don't have the amount of time I used to.

My heart's breaking because of actors that aren't being vocal in defense for all the Israelis & others murdered or kidnapped on October 7th. Especially because of the Jewish or half-Jewish ones that haven't said a word or have offered a meager "peace for both sides" type of statement.

Note to secret maker: possible spoiler tag here, even if it is a remake

After reaching the part in the Super Mario RPG remake where Valentina runs off and ends up at Booster Tower (where Booster proposes to her), I had a moment where I thought she'd be better matched with Bowser. I mean, can you imagine anything hotter than slapping, margarita-sipping, and monsterfucking? (Also, they would always argue over who was the real ruler, which would likely increase the frequency and intensity of such things.)

Already don’t love the Doctor regenerating back into David Tennant but I’m even more annoyed about people calling him the Fourteenth Doctor. David Tennant is not playing a whole new Doctor, (bet that'd be more fun tbh, imagine if he got to be like, Scottish with a different personality) that is the same overrated Tenth Doctor back for a brief gimmick and he does not deserve to get counted twice about it.

I think Antz was a much funnier and better movie than A Bug's Life. Secret because I live in the SF bay area and that's Pixar country.

I miss when English dubs used to give characters regional accents to represent different Japanese dialects. There’s just something missing in a dub when they don’t do that.

I think I prefer shows with wonky looking practical effects to shows with wonky looking CGI. I can forgive a dodgy looking costume or miniature more than I can rubbery CG or blocky pixels.

James Bond is not a spy posing as an international rich playboy socialite. He is a rich socialite playboy who just happens to also be a spy. How are people not getting that? Bond is a posh rich boy who would be expected at such parties and events, and just uses them for some light espionage on the side.

The last scene of Blackadder Goes Forth still makes me choke up. After all this bloody time. No other media ever gave me such an emotional reaction. "We Will Remember Them"

I never read the Invincible comics, but I figured out Omni-Man's plotline the minute he did the whole Viltrumites go out to uplift other planets spiel. Because I'm British and I actually read our history and all those little red flags suddenly shot up the flagpole, as you could've plucked it straight from one of my old school textbooks about the Victorian era Empire.

I don't understand why people get upset at the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy movie being different from the books. Isn't the point of an adaptation to do something different? Douglas Adams certainly thought so, he made every adaptation do its own thing. The books are different from the radio series, the tv show was different from the books, etc.

The only Star Trek Strange World episode I'm interested in is Those Old Scientists. I think they shoulda made the whole show in animation, the outro just sold it to me.

Never look up your childhood heroes on Wikipedia. I just looked at Johnny Ball (of Think of a Number fame) there, and woo-boy, that guy is a wackadoodle. Damn.

I hate that so many timescales given in SFF are so damn short. Two hundred years? Four hundred years? Hell, even a couple of thousand years is not that long ago. Especially in settings when you have characters who live for centuries as a normal lifespan for their species. You want your setting to be ancient, actually throw in an epoch or two to your dating mix.

I wish Star Wars would tell me why more Alderaanians didn't escape, especially senior ones like Bail, the Death Star was visible in the Alderaan skies for several minutes at least before it fired just according to the scenes in A New Hope. I don't understand why the characters didn't read the writing on the wall and run for it.
