While I understand a distaste for people who try to bring anime tropes into real life, I don't understand how any of these pictured things are any less realistic than uh... all the rest of animated media...

Am I missing something?

...yes, which is obvious. But all the images are of a certain kind of animated media (anime) and not everything else that is equally unreal, indicating that this is pointed at this flavor of media and not others.

I don't understand what's so bad about the pictured shows. Do they have something in common that's bad?
